Folsom’s Family Fun at Festival of Eggs!

# An Egg-citing Return: Folsom’s Festival of Eggs is Back

Springtime in Folsom brings the much-anticipated return of the Festival of Eggs, a beloved annual event that transforms Lembi Park into a hub of family-friendly activities and celebrations. On Saturday, April 19, from 8 to 11 a.m., Folsom Parks and Recreation invites families with children aged 10 and under to join in a morning filled with interactive fun, games, and surprises.

The Festival of Eggs offers a delightful twist to the traditional egg hunt format by allowing children to meander along the Bunny Trail at their own pace. Each child will receive a Bunny Trail Map upon arrival, providing a festive route through vendor booths and activity stations where they can collect colorful eggs and sweet treats. As a special treat, children can snag a photo with the Easter Bunny at the finish line, a cherished moment for many families.

This year’s event is designed to ensure every child has the chance to enjoy the festivities without the rush typically associated with traditional egg hunts. To enhance the experience, those who complete all the Bunny Trail stops will enter a drawing for a Golden Egg prize, adding an element of excitement to the day’s activities.

In addition to the Bunny Trail, attendees can enjoy a pancake breakfast available for purchase and participate in free carnival games hosted by the Folsom Teen Council. These games and activities are thoughtfully designed to accommodate children of all ages and skill levels, fostering an inclusive atmosphere for everyone.

To streamline the experience, families are encouraged to arrive during staggered check-in times: 8 to 9:30 a.m. for children aged 6 and under, and 9:30 to 11 a.m. for those aged 7 to 10. Parents are reminded to bring baskets or bags for gathering eggs and prizes along the trail.

With its vibrant atmosphere, numerous photo opportunities, and heartwarming community spirit, the Festival of Eggs has quickly become a cherished springtime tradition in Folsom. Families are invited to make lasting memories and partake in the fun-filled festivities.
